HOW WE WORK - DELIVERY MODEL

Delivery Model

At Rembros we understand that successful technology projects depend on clear communication between the client and the technology outsourcer. Communication is especially critical for businesses wishing to reap the many benefits of offshore software technology outsourcing. A strong, face-to-face client relationship helps both the client and Rembros Corporation create exactly the right solution.

Rembros Corporation has strong delivery presence in the United States and Europe. That is why we have our business analyses, software architects and project managers as team members located at the client site with ability to respond on any project changes quickly.

The advantage of our onshore presence is that it gives Rembros Corporation access to customers' domain knowledge - something that is critical for the complex software-engineering projects that Rembros undertakes.

We can speak to our customers locally.

Rembros Corporation can deliver software development solutions in a number of ways. You can outsource your project onsite at your facility, offsite at one of our development labs, or offshore at our software development centers. For additional flexibility, these options can be used in combination to achieve fast, high quality results.

Onsite Development.
In this approach, all the activities are performed at the customer site. The project management and design & development teams are all based at that location. Customer's sponsors work closely with Rembros project management and design team to establish deliverables, timelines, team composition, etc. Day-to-day supervision of the activities is handled by a combination of the customer's team and our team. This approach is ideal for engagements where: the scope of project has not been defined in details; the scope may undergo a number of changes; the deliverables or the requirements can change dynamically; timelines are aggressive; information is confidential, proprietary, or the customer has other concerns about the security of information.

Offsite Development.
In this approach, work is performed at Rembros development lab at its offices in the U.S. or Central Europe. Prior to beginning any work, our team meets with the customer team to work out the details of the engagement. The project scope, deliverables, screen layouts, reporting, functionality issues, timelines, etc. are all defined in detail. A small mockup of the actual application may also be developed during this phase to understand the look and feel of the end product.

After the definition phase, work moves to the Rembros lab. Deliverables and other progress reports will be made available to the customer at pre-agreed intervals. The customer may choose to receive remote access to the development server via a VPN or some other secure means. By accessing the development server remotely, the customer can monitor progress in real time, and maintain overall control even though work is being carried out offsite. This approach is ideal for engagements where: the scope has been defined in detail; timelines are aggressive; there may be a need for the customer to visit with the development team or the team's managers for greater efficiency.

Offshore Development (Outsourcing).
In this approach, work is actually performed at our development center located in Eastern Europe. Prior to the beginning of any work, a U.S. or Europe-based Rembros team meets with the customer team to work out details of the engagement. The scope of the project, the deliverables, screen layouts, reporting, functionality, timelines, etc. are all defined in detail. A small mockup of the actual application may also be developed during this phase to understand the look-and-feel of the end product.

After the definition phase, the work activity is performed at our development center. Progress reports and deliverables will be made available to the customer at pre-agreed intervals. The customer may choose to receive remote access to the development server via a VPN or some other secure means. By accessing the development server remotely, the customer can monitor progress in real time, and maintain overall control even though work is being carried out offsite. This approach is ideal for engagements where: budget is limited; the scope and requirements are stable and well-defined; timelines are aggressive.

Models combinations.
By using a combination of onsite, offsite and offshore resources, customers can maximize utilization of time and resources for complex projects. Also, if designed correctly, this arrangement allows retention of control for high-to-medium level issues while eliminating day-to-day involvement in mundane and routine details.
